Senior Staff Accountant

To support the financial integrity of the organization, the full-time Senior Staff Accountant will manage advanced accounting tasks including overseeing transactional postings, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and preparing financial reports while working remotely. Key responsibilities Oversee daily posting of transactional activity and manage tuition and fee transactions in accordance with accounting standards Prepare and analyze general ledger entries, ensuring compliance with GAAP and developing detailed balance sheet reconciliations Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, providing support for audits and regulatory reporting Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred Minimum of three (3) years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting practices Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems
