Content Lead

A globally recognized auction house is establishing a new art-backed lending division and is seeking a Senior Content Lead to serve as the founding voice of the brand. This is a rare, ground-floor role at the intersection of art, culture, and finance: you will shape how a storied name in the art world talks about money, trust, and legacy to some of the world's wealthiest collectors and the advisors who guide them. Working as the right hand to the VP of Marketing, you will own both the strategy and the words. You'll set the positioning and messaging for a business chasing $1B in revenue, then produce the email, editorial, and sales materials that bring it to life. This is a full-time freelance engagement for a confident team of one who can hit the ground running. You Will: Define the positioning, value proposition, and messaging hierarchy for a new lending brand across three distinct audiences: ultra-high-net-worth collectors, their gatekeepers (wealth managers and advisors), and internal relationship managers. Build the sales enablement backbone—pitch deck, sales materials, and talking points that arm both external partners and internal teams. Write and produce the editorial engine: email campaigns, a recurring newsletter series, and long-form articles on art, collecting, and wealth. Translate sophisticated financial and art-market concepts into discreet, luxury-grade storytelling—credible and understated, never salesy. Operate as a strategic partner to the VP of Marketing while staying hands-on with the day-to-day content. You Have: 8+ years in content and brand strategy, with equal strength in hands-on writing and production—you set the strategy, and you write the copy. A background in luxury, art, culture, or financial services: auction house, luxury maison, private banking or wealth marketing, or premium editorial and publishing. A proven ear for ultra-high-net-worth audiences and their advisors—sophisticated, understated, and trustworthy. Command of messaging architecture, value proposition development, and sales enablement (decks and sales materials). Strong editorial range across email, newsletters, and long-form articles. The independence to run as a team of one and deliver quality work with minimal ramp. Nice to Have: familiarity with Workfront; experience launching or marketing a new business line; fluency in art-backed lending, collecting, or wealth-management concepts.
