Clinical Pharmacist - Closed Door Specialty Pharmacy

Location: Fort Worth, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday, (occasional Saturdays)
Position Overview
A specialty pharmacy in the North Fort Worth area is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to support a closed-door operation focused on complex therapies. This role centers on patient education, therapy management, and prescription oversight for specialty medications. The pharmacist will work closely with patients and providers to promote safe, effective treatment plans and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new therapies .
Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess medication regimens using current clinical guidelines
• Provide patient counseling for specialty medications, primarily via phone
• Coordinate with providers and care teams regarding therapy initiation and follow-up
• Verify prescriptions and maintain accuracy across dispensing workflows
• Educate patients on administration techniques, including injectable therapies
• Assist with intake and processing of new referrals

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in Texas, in good standing
• At least 2 years of experience in patient counseling and prescription verification

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Keller, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $60.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
