Overview A leading law firm is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Analyst to support its eDiscovery Services team by developing and executing workflows that facilitate the efficient processing, management, and production of electronically stored information (ESI). This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality eDiscovery solutions while balancing cost, quality, and risk. The successful candidate will collaborate with attorneys, litigation support professionals, and external vendors to ensure defensible and efficient discovery processes. Responsibilities
- Process electronically stored information (ESI) using industry best practices and Relativity Processing while maintaining quality control throughout each stage.
- Coordinate ESI productions and ensure accurate, timely delivery of discovery materials.
- Manage the archiving of Relativity workspaces and case-related data.
- Coordinate file sharing and collaboration platforms, including secure document exchange solutions.
- Work with legal process outsourcing vendors and external service providers as needed.
- Assist with the preservation, collection, and processing of electronic evidence.
- Maintain detailed case documentation, including chain of custody records and project notes.
- Perform quality assurance reviews on processed data and productions before attorney review and final production.
- Document all project activities and maintain accurate records of completed work.
- Record billable and non-billable time in accordance with firm policies.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices through webinars, professional development, and eDiscovery resources.
- Provide additional support to the eDiscovery Services team on special projects and departmental initiatives.
- Minimum of one year of hands-on experience with Relativity Processing.
- Relativity Processing Specialist Certification is strongly preferred.
- Experience with electronic discovery workflows, ESI processing, productions, and quality control.
- Familiarity with Relativity workspaces and secure collaboration platforms such as ShareFile or similar technologies.
- Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent matters.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service mindset and ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.
