Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Dept Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10:45 PM - 11:15 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC Must-Have: 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an Emergency Room setting Teamwork mentality and ability to coach and provide real-time feedback Flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department Description: The Emergency Department is committed to making a positive impact on patient care. We are recognized for our high clinical quality and patient safety. Our department serves as a primary referral center for trauma and stroke cases. We provide a comprehensive pediatric emergency room. The Emergency Department has 101 beds with a typical patient ratio of 4:1, and can accommodate up to 7:1 on behavioral holds. We have staffing support including techs and clerks. The unit is equipped with advanced technologies for patient monitoring. Documentation is performed using a comprehensive system. Scheduling is flexible, with requirements for every other weekend. Floating to different sections within the Emergency Department is expected. Patient experience is prioritized through respectful behavior and communication. Certifications are required prior to hire to ensure patient safety.
