You will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the office. ** Key Responsibilities ** ** Accounting & Bookkeeping: ** Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries Process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely data entry Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audits ** Office Management: ** Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships Support HR tasks such as onboarding, scheduling, and internal communication Maintain organizational filing systems and ensure administrative compliance Handle incoming calls, mail, and general office correspondence ** Qualifications ** Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or related finance role Understanding of GAAP and basic financial reporting Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to handle confidential information with integrity Effective verbal and written communication skills ** Preferred Experience ** 3+ years in a bookkeeping or accounting support role Experience working in a small business or startup environment Familiarity with payroll processing and state tax filings If you're a dependable, proactive professional who enjoys both financial management and operational support, we'd love to hear from you.
