This role is ideal for a driven, detail‑oriented professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, technical environment and wants to play a critical role in delivering large‑scale seismic bracing and custom engineering solutions. As a Sr. Project Manager, you’ll lead complex projects from start to finish, coordinating teams, managing scope, controlling schedules and budgets, and serving as a key liaison between our clients, engineers, and internal teams. You’ll be part of a growing organization where your expertise, leadership, and initiative directly contribute to our continued success. Responsibilities Project Setup – responsible for properly setting up all project tasks in ISAT’s billing software and on the server; responsible for projects from inception through closing. Project Management – must be able to track and work on multiple projects simultaneously, run a team of Modelers, Custom Engineers, and back‑office support to meet deadlines while keeping staffing optimal. Billing – develop a thorough knowledge of the terms of each project’s contracts and scope, whether Lump sum, T&M, or Lump Sum billed T&M, and keep abreast of billable hours. Communication – create transmittals, send follow‑up emails, document all correspondence electronically in Nexus notes and project folders, lead client meetings and develop minutes. Project File Management – maintain file folders, understand ISAT file naming conventions, and manage document control. Scope Control – prevent scope creep, identify opportunities for change orders, and capture them with oversight. Scheduling – balance schedules of multiple projects, cross‑check with Branch Senior PM and Technical Support Managers. Submittal Response – craft appropriate documents for SEOR/DSE comments and revise drawings accordingly. Custom Engineering – create tasks and perform quality control on all custom engineering packages; knowledge of riser designs, thermal analysis, and related code grey areas. Material Tracking & Ordering – keep material folders up to date, place orders, track delivery, and record shipments. Field Support – perform job walks on construction sites, provide ISAT inspection, or troubleshoot project issues. Point Loads – create point load charts and parameters based on structural requirements. Code Knowledge – understand the codes our manuals and engineering are derived from and their application. Product Knowledge – identify ISAT and supporting hardware; understand testing, calculations, and design purpose. Vibration Isolation – basic knowledge of vibration isolation systems; assist with quoting and ordering. Process Development & Improvement – work with corporate and regional BIM managers to improve technical support procedures, tools, and training. Prepare Quotes – prepare suspended distributed utilities, Custom Engineering, CEAS, Fab, and other product quotes. Organization – maintain a clean and organized work environment. Perform Other Duties – perform duties not listed that are essential to the employment position. Daily Nexus Time Sheet Entry – accurately enter 100% of completed work into Nexus daily. Utilization of Nexus Notes – document all internal and external correspondence thoroughly in Nexus notes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field preferred (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in project management within construction, engineering, seismic bracing, MEP, or related technical industries. Strong understanding of project scope, billing structures (Lump Sum, T&M), and change order management. Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and lead cross‑functional technical teams. Advanced organizational, documentation, and file management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead client meetings. Strong working knowledge of construction codes, engineering principles, and non-structural systems. Proficiency with project management software, billing systems, and documentation tools.
