Your Role and Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting tailored care strategies
• Identifying and treating acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses either independently or in collaboration with physicians based on your qualifications
• Providing education to patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management strategies
• Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments within the scope of your practice
• Engaging in continuous patient care and follow-up for chronic conditions
• Teaming up with various healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
• Maintaining accurate, detailed documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Credentials and Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Washington state
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure within 90 days)
