Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant who embraces our core values and is committed to delivering superior quality in patient care. The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong focus on both patient and employee safety while implementing treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment goals, plans, and programs as established by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist in therapeutic interventions designed to meet patients' long-term goals including posture training, strengthening, balance, mobility, and pain relief.
• Train patients in locomotion using orthotics, prosthetics, or assistive devices.
• Demonstrate and instruct patients in therapeutic modalities such as whirlpools, hot/cold packs, and ultrasound.
• Monitor patient responses and document progress in compliance with clinic policies.
• Maintain a clean treatment area and adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with patients and staff.
• Participate in team conferences and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• CAPTE certification required.
• 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience preferred.
• Active CPR certification.
• Valid state licensure for Physical Therapy Assistant.

This is a 5x8.0 shift position.
