VP- Corporate Controller

VP, Corporate Controller Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid) LHH is partnering with a publicly traded product-based company to identify a dynamic VP, Corporate Controller. This pivotal role will lead SEC reporting, corporate consolidations, technical accounting, corporate accounting, and oversee the field accounting team, reporting directly to the CFO. Responsibilities Lead corporate accounting, SEC reporting, consolidations and technical accounting issues Oversight of field accounting function Involvement in M&A integration, systems implementation and process improvement Collaborate with business units to provide accounting insights and support Qualifications Proven Controllership experience leading corporate accounting and SEC reporting Strong understanding of business operations from an accounting perspective CPA certification and a foundation in Big 4 accounting firms are strongly preferred Excellent communication and leadership skills Local Chicago area candidate Things to know Flexible hybrid schedule with regularly 2 days in the office per week.
