This contract position is ideal for speech-language pathologists energized by pediatric work and passionate about helping young learners achieve their fullest potential. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care and interventions.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Michigan SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) welcome to apply
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric healthcare settings is a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and work collaboratively within a school team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students from a diverse pediatric population
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to monitor student progress and adapt interventions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and continuing education to support best practices
- Provide guidance, insight, and resources to families and classroom staff as needed
