What You'll Do

• Evaluate and treat patients in the Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED)
• Manage care for unassigned OB/GYN patients
• Monitor labor and interpret fetal heart tracings
• Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
• Serve as the primary safety net for labor and delivery
• Provide consults for pregnancy-related and gynecologic concerns to the ED and medical floors
• Evaluate and treat postpartum patients prior to discharge
• Respond to obstetrical emergencies and evolving labor complications
• Participate in emergency drills and quality improvement initiatives
• Follow evidence-based protocols to ensure patient safety and quality care

What You Need

• MD or DO with board certification in OB/GYN
• Completion of an accredited ACGME OB/GYN residency including robotics training
• Current Texas Medical License or willingness to obtain IMLC license
• Recent delivery and surgical experience in obstetrics and gynecology
• Ability to perform vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and emergency procedures

About the Assignment
Join a dynamic team at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital, a 369-bed acute care facility serving the Arlington community with approximately 1,300-1,500 births annually. The hospital boasts a Level III NICU, private maternity suites, dedicated high-risk pregnancy areas, and an Epic EMR system. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, anesthesiologists, OB/GYN hospitalists, CNMs, and family medicine physicians, dedicated to providing exceptional maternal and neonatal care.
