• Licenses/Certifications: MD or DO; Board Certified in OB/GYN; Texas Medical License required or willingness to obtain
• Experience: Recent delivery and surgical experience, including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and emergency obstetrical procedures

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $4,297.80 (plus travel and other reimbursements)

What You'll Do:

• Evaluate and manage obstetric emergencies in the hospital's OB Emergency Department
• Monitor labor and interpret fetal heart tracings
• Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
• Provide consults for pregnancy-related and gynecologic concerns in ED and inpatient settings
• Manage postpartum patients prior to discharge
• Respond to obstetrical emergencies and evolving labor complications
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, anesthesiologists, CNMs, and hospitalists
• Participate in emergency drills and quality improvement initiatives to enhance maternal and neonatal safety
• Follow evidence-based protocols to ensure patient safety and care quality

What You Need:

• MD or DO license; Board certification in OB/GYN
• Recent delivery and surgical experience, including emergency obstetrical procedures
• Willingness to travel and work 24-hour shifts

• Robotics training in obstetrics
• Experience working in high-volume delivery units
