Sr. Director, Property Management, ($179,900 - $236,800)

Position Summary:

This role drives the strategic vision and long-term value creation for a portfolio of over one million square feet of neighborhood and community shopping centers. The Senior Director of Neighborhood and Community Centers serves as a key organizational leader by orchestrating cross-functional synergy, championing transformative initiatives, and ensuring portfolio-wide alignment with corporate retail objectives and community needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accountability for portfolio financial performance (P&L), valuation, and capital investment opportunities.
• Oversee financial activities, including leasing support, revenue generation, expense control, and Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable management.
• Drive strategic actions using market data and rent rolls while ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and tenant lease adherence.
• Lead the creation and execution of annual budgets, strategic business plans, and property action plans.
• Hire, train, and mentor staff while leading cross-functional teams across leasing, development, and finance.
• Identify market shifts and drive operational innovation to maintain a competitive advantage.
• Ensure all shopping centers meet high operational standards.
• Plan and execute enhancement and redevelopment initiatives.
• Serve as the primary contact for tenants, build positive relationships, and monitor performance.
• Act as the operational authority on lease language, managing defaults and disputes in partnership with Legal Counsel.

Additional Skills:

• Certified Shopping Center Management (CSM) designation preferred

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Years of Relevant Work Experience:

• 10+ years with regional center/mall management preferred

Additional Requirements:

• Valid California driver’s license; Maintain continuous vehicle liability insurance as required by state law. (This role requires the regular and frequent operation of a vehicle, as defined in the Company’s MVR policy, and is part of the essential duties of this position.)

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $179,900.00 - $236,800.00

 

Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
