Beverage Cart AttendantRiver Oaks Golf Course and Event Center is looking for Beverage Cart Attendants for the golf course. The position is a part-time position. The Beverage Cart Attendant provides customer service when greeting members and guests in a cheerful and helpful manner; offering daily drink and menu specials; taking beverage orders from customers and servers; mixing various alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following standard company recipes; calculating and presenting bill and collect payment for each order. Employees hired for this position are also eligible for tips. Must be able to work nights and/or weekends.Essential Job FunctionsProvide outstanding customer service when acknowledging and greeting each golfer and guest on the courseMust maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all timesProviding beverage service to all golfers on the courseProcess guest orders to ensure that all items are prepared properly and in a timely mannerEnsure that patrons are satisfied with the products and the serviceProcess guest checks, accept payment and make changeAccountable for cash and guest check chargesResponsible for stocking beer cooler and suppliesPerform all set-up and cleaning of beverage cart and beverage areasResponsible for safe operation of beverage cart on the course and groundsPerform various duties as assigned by managementMinimum RequirementsMust be at least 18 years of age for service of intoxicating liquorOne year of bartending, alcohol service, or beverage cart experienceBasic knowledge of beverage preparation and serviceKnowledge of laws concerning the service and use of intoxicating liquorKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMust have outstanding customer service skillsMust be able to understand and execute the safety with service of intoxicating beveragesMust be able to properly ID customers for service of alcohol and tobaccoMust possess basic math skillsMust have the ability to handle money and chargesMust present a professional imageMust be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with elected officials, employees and the publicBenefitsNo benefits are provided for seasonal and/or part-time positions.
