CNC Operator

Sportsman Boats is looking for a CNC operator responsible for the operation of the CNC machines to cut materials while meeting production goals and high-quality standards. Our schedule is Monday - Thursday 5:00 am - 3:45 pm. There may be opportunities for overtime based on production needs. What you will do: Performall assigned CNC operations meeting daily and weekly production goals while maintaining high-quality standards Detectand reportdefective materials or questionable conditions to management Maintainthe work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures Transport materials to different areas of the CNC shop Performinspection of machined productsand document results Completeand maintainpaperwork for parts Assistin other work areas in upholstery department as needed Requirements: Minimum one year of experience as a CNC operator in a fast-paced manufacturing facility Experience using small hand tools Knowledgeable in the areas of material cutting, sewing, upholstery, and foam assembly Ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to follow schedules Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to complete tasks independently with minimal supervision Advanced verbal communication skills Advanced time management and organizational skills High School diploma or equivalent PreferredExperience: Experience working with wood, leather, fiberglass, and vinyl in the marine industry Experience using the Eastman, Axyz, 3-Axis, or 5 Axis and Router systems This job operates in a manufacturing plant environment.
