Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Night Shift)

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU experience to provide exceptional care to patients within a fast-paced hospital environment. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will ensure that patients receive the highest standard of respiratory therapy services.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and analyze results.
• Assist with intubation procedures and provide nebulizer treatments as necessary.
• Utilize appropriate ventilators and respiratory monitoring equipment.
• Collaborate with medical staff to create and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure patient safety and effective communication throughout treatment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a current RRT certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital respiratory therapy experience, including NICU and ICU.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Experience with Servo I ventilators and I-Stat is preferred.
• Good customer service skills and ability to work with a diverse patient population.
