MRI Technologist, Acute Permanent, Full-Time in AR
Location: 71901 Schedule: MondayFriday, 10 a.m.6 p.m.; occasional call may be required
Join an acute care imaging team using MRI technology to support accurate diagnoses and quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations according to department protocols and professional standards.
- Review patient histories and provider orders to support appropriate imaging and patient safety.
- Prepare and educate patients for MRI procedures.
- Administer contrast media or medications as ordered and monitor patients during procedures.
- Evaluate image quality, make adjustments or repeat scans as needed, and document accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved imaging program.
- Associate's degree preferred.
- ARRT certification and Arkansas State Radiation Operator's License required.
- BLS certification required.
- MRI board certification preferred.
- Five years of MRI experience preferred.
