If so, apply for this critical bookkeeping position today! HOW YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCEYou have a Monday - Friday schedule with flexible working hours and some ability to work from home.Our Accountant - Senior Bookkeeper is pivotal to maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our financial reporting and various finance operations. You're responsible for managing a wide array of essential accounting and bookkeeping functions, including payroll, budgeting, internal audits, tax filing, profit-and-loss statements, and accounts receivable and payable. You also strive to enhance and streamline processes by evaluating existing accounting systems and implementing strategies for improvement.Highly accurate and detail-oriented, you compile and analyze account information to prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries. You document transactions, gather financial status documents, and use this information to make informed accounting recommendations. Following GAAP principles, you audit documents, manage timely payroll processing, reconcile discrepancies, and lead month- and year-end closing processes. You maintain our financial security, support regulatory compliance, and ensure confidentiality. Tackling special projects and other finance duties as assigned, your hard work is a critical driver in our continued success and future growth! OUR IDEAL ACCOUNTANT - SENIOR BOOKKEEPER6+ years of relevant accounting experience3+ years of experience using QuickBooks and Microsoft 365 applicationsExperience with bookkeeping and tracking financial transactionsAbility to work independently, accurately, and efficiently in a fast-paced environmentExceptional communication skillsStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and scheduling abilitiesCommitment to acting with integrity and following ethical practicesA bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field would be preferred.
