Location: Downtown Dallas, TX (fully onsite for the first 9 months) Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Hourly Schedule: Monday – Friday (Assigned 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM) Start Date: September 2026 About the Role: As a Care Advocate, you will support members from start to finish of their surgery journey. This role requires a high volume of phone calls, serving as a key point of contact for both members and provider offices. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is compassionate, well-organized, and passionate about helping people through challenging healthcare situations. You’ll be a key part of supporting members through a critical part of their surgery journey, making sure everything goes smoothly from beginning to end. Key Responsibilities Primary Point of Contact: Manage full care coordination, maintaining regular, supportive, and consistent communication to ensure a smooth, positive experience for members. Member Education & Support: Educate members on their benefits and surgical network, and assist members in choosing a top-rated provider or surgeon. Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule all necessary appointments, including initial surgeon consultations, the surgical procedures, and follow-up care (such as physical therapy). Caseload Management: Effectively oversee a dynamic caseload, building up to an average of 90 members at various stages of their care journey. Provider Communication: Act as the liaison to provider offices by calling to request medical records, confirming insurance coverage, and verifying appointment details on behalf of the member. Travel Coordination: Arrange and coordinate all necessary travel accommodations for the member's surgery journey, including flights, hotels, and car rentals. Data Management: Log all member interactions, notes, and information accurately into the company’s CRM system. The "Alaska Shift": To support all time zones, employees work one remote "Alaska shift" (1:00 PM – 11:00 PM) once to a few times a month, with a 30-day advance notice. Hybrid Opportunity: After 9 months, you could be eligible to transition to hybrid, which consists of 1 remote day per week . Compensation & Performance Bonuses Base Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour Overtime: Fully eligible for overtime pay even though it's a permanent role Bonus Opportunity: Eligible to earn an additional $700 to $1,200 per month based on performance (starting 90 days post-hire). Key metrics include case-to-consult ratios, scheduling speed, audit success, and overall quality. Qualifications & Skills Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is required. Experience: Previous experience in healthcare is highly preferred. We are also eager to meet recent graduates with a healthcare-related degree! Communication: Comfortable with high volume phone work. Exceptional verbal and written grammar skills; complete comfort with high-volume, professional phone communication. Resilience: Ability to react calmly in stressful situations and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Multitasking: Proven ability to juggle multiple member cases at once without sacrificing quality of care. Availability: Must be open to receiving any assigned 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM (assigned randomly after training).
