Job Description As a Security Officer Access Control in Shelby, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly, and help address security-related concerns while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.48 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime: Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM; Thu 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM; Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM; Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location. Monitor and control access points by verifying identification, visitor authorization, delivery appointments, and contractor credentials in accordance with site requirements. Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, contractor, and vehicle entry records; issue and collect visitor credentials as directed by site procedures. Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and other designated areas; report unusual conditions, damaged barriers, and policy violations. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
