Senior Global Director - Commodities

The Senior Global Director - Commodities will lead a global team of Global Commodity Directors to drive excellence in procurement strategy, Should cost & Gap to Benchmarking, Supplier panel optimization, Supplier VA/VE and innovation. This role carries full P&L responsibility for the Commodities performance and demands a high level of engagement with Sensata’s key suppliers and executive leadership. The Global Director commodities will be instrumental in influencing strategic decisions and aligning sourcing initiatives with broader business goals. With a focus on mitigating supply risks and enabling growth, the role includes ownership of supplier selection and sourcing decisions, particularly in support of Sensata’s strategic initiative to expand supply base. The role will collaborate cross-functionally across finance, engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure continuity of supply, protect revenue, and navigate global regulatory and tariff challenges.
