Job Title: Packaging Engineer Job Description

Responsible for the design, development, and processing of implant and instrument packaging under the direction of a project leader or manager.

Responsibilities

• Design products for manufacturability, inspectability, and optimum cost.
• Generate prototype models to evaluate new design concepts.
• Coordinate product evaluations with surgeons.
• Develop protocols for product testing and analysis.
• Generate design assurance documentation for assigned projects.

Essential Skills

• Design for manufacturability, inspectability, and cost optimization.

• Design assurance documentation.
• Collaboration with surgeons and cross-functional teams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• B.S. in Packaging Science or Engineering required.
• 0-1 years of experience required.
• Experience within the medical device industry.

Work Environment

100% onsite in Warsaw, with standard first shift hours.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Warsaw, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $44.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
