Benefits Specialist Trainer

ROLE: Surge (Processing) Support Supervisor 9 hour work days/180 DCAP This position is on-site in Tennessee, with a rate of $65.hr. The client is looking for locals and will pay for local travel (Expense). Desired Skills: Previous experience working with state governmental agencies as an eligibility specialist Previous technology adoption project experience in integrated eligibility systems, preferably with Medicaid, SNAP or, TANF programs Previous field support and/or training experience Strong interpersonal awareness Ability to maintain resolve under pressure Ability to operate in a remote/work-from-home setting Exceptional interpersonal skills & professionalism Humility & grit Flexibility Key Responsibilities: Evaluate data from various electronic and other sources to enter information into a computer-based eligibility system. Compute benefits based on eligibility determination. Use fact-finding techniques to obtain, relate and evaluate information provided by applicants. Read, understand, apply, and explain detailed regulations and policies. Perform basic arithmetic functions.
