Class C Driver

Class C Driver Full Time Signal Hill, CA, US Salary Range: $18.00 To $25.00 Hourly Position Summary: Power Trip Rentals is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class C Driver to deliver and recover rental equipment, tools, and supplies from customer job sites. Our drivers are an important part of our operation and often serve as the face of the company when interacting with customers at construction sites, event locations, and production sets. This role involves operating company non-CDL vehicles such as pickup trucks (F-150) and stake-bed trucks to transport equipment safely and efficiently. Drivers must ensure all equipment is properly loaded, secured, and delivered while maintaining excellent communication with dispatch and operations. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate company non-CDL vehicles such as pickup trucks, vans, and stake-bed trucks. Deliver and pick up rental equipment from customer job sites, production locations, and event venues. Assist with loading, securing, and unloading equipment to ensure safe transport and prevent damage. Verify equipment and obtain customer signatures for delivery and pickup paperwork. Maintain communication with dispatch and operations regarding delivery status, job site conditions, or delays. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical or safety issues. Follow all DOT, company, and safety regulations when transporting equipment. Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and driver logs as required. Keep company vehicles clean, organized, and presentable. Represent Power Trip Rentals in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers. Qualifications: Previous experience driving pickup trucks, vans, or stake-bed trucks for deliveries preferred. Ability to safely navigate job sites, construction zones, and tight spaces. Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with dispatch and operations teams. Clean driving record with no major violations. Ability to lift, move, and secure equipment as required. Basic understanding of vehicle inspections and safety procedures. Working Conditions: Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs or more with assistance. Work may be performed in various weather conditions and outdoor environments. Frequent travel to customer locations throughout Southern California and surrounding areas. #J-18808-Ljbffr
