Product Specialist Resiliency Program Manager

The Product Specialist (Intermediate) for the Resiliency Program Manager role is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a Roof and Flood Mitigation Resiliency Program. This position manages financial assistance initiatives aimed at reducing property owners' vulnerability to natural hazards by coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure successful program delivery and compliance. Responsibilities:

• Support program implementation, operational setup, and ongoing process improvements.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to verify system functionality and alignment with program requirements.
• Review training and program materials for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Manage and review applications for completeness, eligibility, and compliance with guidelines.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on program policies, providing guidance and answering applicant questions.
• Coordinate with contractors, evaluators, and external partners for application reviews and project approvals.
• Monitor application progress through review and approval stages, ensuring timely processing and communication.
• Identify opportunities to improve program efficiency, customer experience, and operational effectiveness.
• Maintain strong relationships with bureau resources, insurance partners, construction professionals, and technology vendors.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in public administration, business administration, finance, emergency management, insurance, public policy, engineering, construction, risk management, or a related field.
• Experience in user acceptance testing, stakeholder engagement, and creating training materials.
• Knowledge of program policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to manage application reviews and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Experience working with insurance organizations, construction professionals, and technology partners.
• Familiarity with resiliency and mitigation programs related to natural hazard risk reduction.
• Proficiency in program evaluation and operational process improvement.

• Candidates must live within 2 hours of Gardiner, Maine.
• Hybrid work location requiring 2-3 days per week in the office.
