Field Service Technician Location: Colorado Springs, CO Salary: $35.00 - $45.00/hr. DOE Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Contract Type: Contract-to-Direct Hire. Long-term opportunity About the Opportunity We are seeking a mechanically inclined and dependable Field Service Technician to join a growing service team supporting commercial and industrial facilities throughout the Colorado Springs area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, working with their hands, and solving mechanical and electrical issues in the field. The ideal candidate will have experience with maintenance, electrical systems, plumbing, mechanical repairs, and control systems. You will travel to customer locations using a company vehicle to perform inspections, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting activities. What You'll Do Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial and industrial equipment and systems Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing-related issues Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals Troubleshoot and service control systems and related components Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively Complete service reports, work orders, and maintenance documentation Communicate professionally with customers and internal team members Follow all company safety procedures and standards Travel to various customer locations throughout the region using a company-provided vehicle Qualifications Previous experience in maintenance, field service, industrial maintenance, plant maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related mechanical trade Knowledge of and maintenance experience with air compressor systems is highly preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and control diagrams Experience working with electrical systems, motors, controls, plumbing, and mechanical equipment Comfortable using hand tools and basic diagnostic equipment Strong problem-solving and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage daily assignments Physical Requirements Frequently lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 30–40 pounds Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in various indoor and outdoor environments Comfortable working around industrial and mechanical equipment Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Ability to pass a background check Reliable transportation to and from work Must be eligible to operate a company vehicle Why Consider This Opportunity?
