About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President or Director for its Direct Lending team, with a focus on originating and executing transactions in the software and technology ecosystem. This role is pivotal, with a significant emphasis on both origination (approximately 70%) and execution (30%), and is dedicated to a mix of sponsor-backed cash flow loans and recurring revenue-based financings. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating new lending opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with private equity sponsors and technology-focused intermediaries, and leading the full transaction process from sourcing to deal structuring. A strong network of private equity sponsor relationships and technology-focused deal referral sources is essential, as is the ability to operate independently and partner with internal teams throughout the investment process. Applicants for this role at the company should have a minimum of 6 years' of experience in private credit, direct lending, recurring revenue lending, sponsor coverage, or investment banking. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in originating and executing a mix of sponsor-backed cash flow loans and ARR-based financings, and be familiar with software/SaaS business models and lower middle market lending. The position requires a professional who is adept at representing the firm at various industry events and is capable of working within a lean team structure.
