Prep Cook

Position Overview Prep Cook / Runner – Staten Island FerryHawks Stadium located at 75 Richmond Ter, Staten Island, NY – responsible for food preparation, delivery of food to concession areas, and support during games and events. Responsibilities Prepare food items according to established recipes and portion standards. Wash, cut, and organize ingredients for service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas. Ensure all food is handled, stored, and labeled in accordance with food‑safety guidelines. Deliver prepared food and supplies from kitchen areas to concession stands as needed. Restock food stations and supplies throughout events. Assist with set‑up and breakdown of kitchen and prep areas before and after events. Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to supervisors. Work closely with kitchen staff and concession teams to ensure timely service. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, as well as stadium procedures. Practice safe work habits and complete company and venue safety and general position compliance training. Maintain a pleasant and collaborative attitude toward customers, co‑workers, and management. Adhere to the Legends Global and venue company policies. Complete other duties assigned by management as needed. Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Qualifications Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically active tasks. Dependable, organized, and able to follow instructions accurately. Compensation Competitive hourly rate of $19.15, commensurate with experience, plus a generous benefits package (medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401(k) plan). Working Conditions Location: 75 Richmond Ter, Staten Island, NY 10301. Physical Demands Ability to lift/move/maneuver at least 25 pounds, work in all weather conditions, and perform standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
