CNC Lathe Machinist

We are looking for a CNC Machinist to join our team and take ownership of complex milling and turning operations. Salary: $52,000 - $72,000 per year Shift: First Work Hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM Education: High School Responsibilities Perform comprehensive setup, maintenance, and operation of CNC machine tools, specifically focused on turning and milling centers (both vertical and horizontal). Execute machining runs ranging from simple to complex while maintaining exacting tolerances and strict adherence to technical specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure part accuracy and project alignment. Utilize precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and gauges, along with applicable tooling to verify product quality. Edit or modify CNC programs as needed to improve manufacturing efficiency and enhance final product quality. Manage multiple tasks or operate several machines simultaneously to meet production goals. Order necessary raw materials from stock and secure appropriate tooling required for specific projects. Provide instruction and guidance to less experienced operators regarding machine setup and operational procedures. Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and cost-efficiency while working with minimal supervision. Proactively assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving to support special tools and custom machine orders. Essential Functions Work in a smoke-free environment.
