Facilities Coordinator

Operations CoordinatorThe Operations Coordinator will be a detailed-oriented person with a heart to serve at Cornerstone Chapel. They will support the day-to-day operations, event readiness, and facility needs of the church and school campus. This role serves as the primary point of coordination between Facilities, ministry teams, volunteers, vendors, and contractors to ensure buildings, grounds, equipment, and resources are prepared to support ministry activities. This individual will demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit in all interactions with congregants, volunteers, and staff. He or she will seek to perform all duties as unto the Lord, relying on the Holy Spirit for guidance, and completing all tasks with excellence.Minimum QualificationsMinimum age of 18 required; Minimum age of 21 preferredHigh School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred3–5 years of experience with facilities operations, event coordination, scheduling, or project management preferredProficient in Microsoft SuiteSkills/AbilitiesQuick learner; Public relations; Interpersonal; Communication; Problem-solving abilitiesStrong organizational and administrative skillsExcellent communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with ministry leaders, staff, volunteers, and vendorsStrong attention to detailOther CharacteristicsPatient; Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the job; Teachable spirit; Completes tasks in a timely mannerPerformance Dimensions and TasksAdministrative SupportManages and coordinates work orders related to the church buildings, equipment, and groundsCoordinate maintenance needs, repairs, and facility projectsCoordinate inspections, contractor visits, renewals, and required licensesMaintain key reservation systems and oversee key managementSupport the Facilities calendar and scheduling processesManage and communicate expectations with volunteersManage Facilities purchasing processesMaintain accurate records for Facilities expenses, purchases, transaction reports, and fund requestsMaintain accurate inventory records and ensure needed resources are availableManages Certificates of Insurance (COIs)Support safe and compliant Facilities operations across both campuses
