Client Development Manager

Energy Sector Opportunity Houston, TX | Hybrid Working Want the opportunity to play a key role in the growth of a globally expanding business while building strategic client partnerships across the energy sector? At Applica , we’re looking for an ambitious Client Development Manager to join our Houston team as we continue growing our presence across North America. Applica is a specialist recruitment company operating within the energy sector, resourcing projects for companies enabling the energy transition. Headquartered in Manchester, with offices across the UK, USA, Norway and Canada, we partner with clients and contractors globally to deliver workforce solutions across technical and engineering markets. The Role This is an opportunity to join a fast‑growing international business where you’ll work closely with senior leadership to drive commercial growth across the US market. You’ll be responsible for developing new client relationships, identifying project opportunities, securing new business and building long‑term strategic partnerships across the energy sector. This is a highly visible role with significant autonomy and the opportunity to make a direct impact on the continued growth of our North American operations. What You’ll Be Doing Driving new business development across the energy sector Building and developing long‑term client relationships Identifying and qualifying project opportunities within existing and prospective clients Managing the full sales cycle from initial engagement through to contract award Securing new client contracts and master service agreements Working closely with internal recruitment teams to deliver workforce solutions Growing existing client accounts and identifying additional opportunities Networking extensively across operators, EPCs, contractors and key industry stakeholders Representing Applica at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities What We’re Looking For Experience within the energy sector Previous experience within business development, client development, account management or sales Experience within recruitment, staffing, workforce solutions or a related commercial environment Strong relationship‑building and networking skills Proven ability to generate and convert new business opportunities Commercially driven, self‑motivated and target‑oriented What You’ll Get Opportunity to play a key role in the growth of our North American business Direct exposure to senior leadership and commercial decision‑making Entrepreneurial, collaborative and people‑focused culture Uncapped earning potential through a competitive commission structure Flexible hybrid working Long‑term progression opportunities as Applica continues to scale across North America If you’re looking for a role where you can genuinely influence business growth, build strategic partnerships and be part of an ambitious international growth journey, we’d love to hear from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr
