This role is primarily remote, providing flexibility while allowing you to directly interact with patients via telehealth platforms. Our outpatient setting is designed to promote collaborative care, where our counselors work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that clients receive the comprehensive support that they need. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Focus Renew, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting detailed mental health assessments to identify clients' needs and therapeutic goals.

• Delivering high-quality individual therapy sessions using evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s unique situation.

• Developing and implementing insightful treatment plans that promote client engagement and measurable progress.

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide coordinated care for clients with complex needs.

• Maintaining organized and accurate electronic health records to support effective treatment planning and compliance with health regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our diverse clientele includes individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. As a counselor, you will have the opportunity to engage with clients from varied backgrounds and assist them in navigating their paths toward wellness. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the mental health counseling field, demonstrating a strong history of client advocacy.

• A Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from an accredited institution, providing a solid foundation in therapeutic techniques.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent certification valid in Pennsylvania.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner.

• A deep understanding of client experiences, allowing for empathetic listening and personalized care.

• Familiarity with therapy services, community resources, insurance billing procedures, and mental health documentation standards.

Preferred Experience\n

While the primary qualifications are required, we prefer candidates who demonstrate additional expertise in specific therapeutic modalities (such as CBT, DBT, or EMDR) and those who have experience in crisis intervention. Familiarity with telehealth practices is also a plus given the remote nature of the position.

Compensation and Benefits\n
