Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to establish individual treatment plans.

• Provide personalized therapy utilizing various evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Deliver therapeutic services to groups, families, couples, and individuals, adapting techniques to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and community resources, to ensure comprehensive client care.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with legal requirements and ethical standards.

• Participate in professional development activities, including workshops, to stay current with mental health research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working primarily with individuals and families experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse issues. Many of our clients come from backgrounds facing socioeconomic barriers that limit their access to mental health resources. Your expertise will play a crucial role in breaking down those barriers and providing much-needed support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• At least two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is necessary.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technologies is beneficial.

• The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload capacity.
