ICU Registered Nurse

MLR is looking for a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to critically ill patients in our Intensive Care Unit. In this role, you will monitor and manage complex medical conditions, administer essential treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maintain the highest standards of patient care. Your expertise and compassion will be vital in making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to critically ill patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing necessary interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Assess patient conditions, document clinical information accurately, and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
• Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatments, and care plans.
• Maintain and operate ICU equipment and ensure a safe and sterile environment.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications:

• Current Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Palliative Care Training preferred.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of ICU procedures and protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
