CT Technologist – Variable – United States of America This individual will provide care to all patients while producing high‑quality imaging modalities. They will also administer contrast or radiopharmaceuticals with patient assessment and follow‑up. The candidate must demonstrate all necessary skills and knowledge of section computer and/or equipment technology. In addition, they will provide backup supervision (coordination) and direction to all radiology sections when a coordinator is absent, perform duties of a Level II Radiographer/Technologist when requested, directly supervise students, and maintain certification according to State, National, and Medical Center regulations. Responsibilities Provide patient care during all imaging procedures. Administer contrast or radiopharmaceuticals and conduct patient assessment and follow‑up. Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment. Supplies backup supervision and coordination across radiology sections. Assist or perform Level II Radiographer/Technologist duties as needed. Supervise students in the radiology department. Maintain current certifications and comply with regulatory standards. Qualifications Graduate of a Joint Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) program or a regionally accredited and approved School of Radiologic Technology. A four‑year program is preferred. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in more than one modality. Licensed by the State of Florida to operate ionizing and non‑ionizing imaging equipment in accordance with MQA, Joint Commission, and ALARA standards. Minimum of five years experience in a specific radiologic technology science or area of specialization. Experience with the PACS system preferred.
