Blazer Jobs has an opening for a School Psychologist for a full-time contract position for the 2026–2027 school year in Danville, IL. This role has flexibility for onsite (W2) or virtual (1099) candidates, offering the opportunity to support students in either a junior high or elementary setting.

Job Description:
The School Psychologist will provide comprehensive evaluation and support services within a school-based setting. This role includes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, supporting special education processes, and ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations
• Collaborate with special education staff and general education teams
• Support MTSS processes and data-driven decision making
• Schedule and facilitate domain meetings, EDCs, and ARs
• Assist with manifestation determinations
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting timelines

Qualifications:

• Active School Psychologist license/certification (or ability to obtain)
• Knowledge of IDEA and Illinois rules and regulations
• Strong understanding of IEPs, 504 plans, DS, and MTSS
• Ability to manage timelines and compliance requirements
• Virtual candidates must be comfortable working independently and remotely

Experience:

• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Experience with evaluations, MTSS, and compliance processes

Education:

• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology

Employment Type:
Full-time, Contract (W2 for onsite; 1099 for virtual)

Work Hours:
35 hours per week

Program / Caseload:

• Potential placement in 7th–8th Junior High or K–4 Elementary (based on fit and need)
