Job Summary and Responsibilities Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) is seeking a Sports Medicine Surgeon/Physician to join its expanding Orthopedic department in East Phoenix. Based out of clinics in Central, West and East Valley Phoenix. Monday-Friday. Minimum of two clinic days per week. High School football game coverage required. Grand Canyon University club sports coverage. Grand Canyon University Division 1 coverage. MD/DO
Fellowship Training and American Board Certification in Sports Medicine Must have or be eligible for Arizona state medical license Acceptable completion of an ACGME accredited residency program with current ABMS board certification 3-5 years experience working with team sports, Division I collegiate experience highly desirable Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
