Customer Service Representative

Location: Swedesboro, NJ (On-Site)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $24.00/hour

Employment Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

About the Role

We are seeking an entry-level Customer Service Representative to support spare parts operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys coordinating orders, working with multiple departments, and providing excellent support to customers.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer phone calls regarding spare parts inquiries
• Prepare and deliver spare parts quotations
• Process customer orders and purchase orders
• Place part orders with suppliers and monitor order status
• Follow up on delivery timelines and communicate updates to customers
• Process customer invoicing
• Review electrical and mechanical drawings to identify spare parts as needed
• Track warranty items and returned parts
• Review service reports for parts requirements
• Verify spare parts pricing and compare supplier quotes
• Provide administrative support to Purchasing and After-Sales teams

Qualifications

Required:

• Customer service experience
• Experience with order entry, order processing, or invoicing
• Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Excel
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively across multiple departments

Preferred:

• Experience reading blueprints, electrical drawings, or mechanical drawings
• Manufacturing or industrial environment experience

Work Environment

• On-site position in a manufacturing/office setting
• Not a call center environment
• Collaborative team supporting customers, production, and suppliers

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Swedesboro, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
