Our busy restaurant is looking for servers with a friendly smile and a cheerful customer service attitude to set the tone for our guests to enjoy their dining experience with us. You will serve our guests in the restaurant by ensuring that they are seated promptly, their orders are taken, prepared, and served timely, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next guests. Our ideal candidate maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor toward our guests and coworkers while providing exceptional customer service to our guests. $11.79 - $12 hourly

• Attend all pre-shift and departmental meetings to improve communications and develop an understanding of products, services, and facilities
• Promptly seat guests when they arrive, take food and beverage orders, serve meals on time while accommodating any special requests
• Establish a full knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to respond to client inquiries and make recommendations
• Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors
• Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties

• Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills
• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
• This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
• Prior food service industry experience is highly desired
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
