West Michigan Regional Property Manager

Red Oak Management Co, Inc. is looking for a West Michigan Regional Property Manager to join our team in Kent City, MI. This full-time job pays $22 – $26 per hour and covers the areas of Sand Lake, Grant, Muskegon, White Cloud, Baldwin, Hart, Sheridan, and Stanton. You will help ensure our affordable housing properties are well-run and make a positive difference in the community. You will also have a chance to grow as our company grows. We also offer a full benefit package including medical, dental, vision, group and supplemental life, and a 401(k) plan.You will work 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday. Your shift will usually be between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. After the first couple of months of training, this will be a hybrid role. You will start each day from your own home and go straight to the properties you manage. At Red Oak, we focus on teamwork, reliability, and creating positive change for the people who live in our communities.DO YOU MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS?Affordable housing property management experienceFair housing training or certificationUnderstanding of compliance rules, laws, and processes (at least minimal level)Ability to travel regularly within assigned area using your own vehicleExperience coaching peers or working in a leadership capacity (preferred)Additional compliance certifications or knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, or Rural Development regulations (preferred)WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A WEST MICHIGAN REGIONAL PROPERTY MANAGER?Each day, you will work side by side with property staff, helping them do their jobs better. You will track things like vacancies, repairs, and rent issues, and let the main office know what is going on. You will help train staff, make sure everyone follows company rules, and support the teams at each property.
