Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients per physician orders and protocols.

• Assess patient status and adjust therapies based on protocols and outcomes.

• Monitor and manage ventilator settings, alarms, and safety checks for assigned patients.

• Meet or exceed clinical targets and contribute to pipeline-based performance metrics.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and infection control guidelines.

• Document treatments, outcomes, and equipment usage in the medical record system.

• Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient care plans and improve results.

• Educate patients and families on therapies, equipment, and home care considerations.

• Identify opportunities for professional development and pursue relevant certifications.

• Utilize data and analytics to forecast demand and influence resource planning.

• Maintain on-site presence, participate in daily huddles, and provide timely status updates.

Experience/Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist with active state credentials.

• Proficient management of ventilator settings and alarm protocols.

• Ability to assess patients, adjust therapies per protocol, and document outcomes.

• Strong familiarity with infection control, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.

• Experience with medical record systems and accurate charting of treatments.

• Data-driven mindset; use analytics to forecast demand and plan resources.

• Collaborative team player with ability to lead daily huddles and update status.

• Patient and family education skills on therapies, equipment, and home care.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and pursuing relevant certifications.

• Contract role availability; on-site presence required; flexibility for shift coverage.
