Learn more at Job Description: Provide courteous and professional support to users and internal stakeholdersCoordinate setting up of computing resources and installation of required softwareMentor other members of the team as neededEfficient timely, and effective response to internal user requests for support/troubleshooting while adhering to internal operating proceduresMaintain smooth operation of multi-user/multi-platform computer systems for desktops and server environmentMonitor and manage system resources, (e.g. CPU usage, disk usage, and response times)Basic Qualifications: Candidate must be a US CitizenMust be able to obtain and maintain a security clearancePosition requires at least a Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience (or 7 years of experience in lieu of a degree) in PC Support and/or Help Desk environmentKnowledge of Window operating systems, Hyper-V, Microsoft 365 Suite, Window Domain architecture, Information Technology, Firewalls, and effective knowledge of both wired and wireless Local Area Network technologies.Linux Administration:Basic Knowledge of SSH and Remote server administrationExperience with common Linux commandsPerform routine administration, monitoring, patching, user management, and basic troubleshooting.Desired Qualifications:Experience in implementation and maintenance of CMMC guidelines strongly preferredExperience with basic support of Linux in a production environment a plusExperience in a small business environment is a plusThis role is 100% onsite in the Dayton/ Beavercreek, OH office.Benefits: CFD Research offers competitive salaries and excellent employee benefits, including an employer matching 401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
