Description American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery/Obstetrics position requiring an active CA RN license and NRP certification. Details Work in the Obstetrics Acute unit of an acute care hospital Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM 36-48 hours per week EPIC EMR experience required Requirements Active CA RN license required BLS certification required NRP certification required BSN preferred Acute care facility experience preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty within the last 3 months EPIC or Cerner experience must be documented in employment history Additional Information Deliver coordinated nursing care to patients following established standards and the nursing process Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care across disciplines Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care plans Implement care plans and evaluate patient progress toward outcomes Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane care Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning Delegate duties appropriately among healthcare team members Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions No radius restriction for candidate eligibility Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
