Chief Financial Officer

Our client is a fast-growing consumer products company operating across premium retail, eCommerce, and wholesale distribution. With a nationally recognized footprint, strong brand loyalty, and a differentiated product platform, the company is entering an exciting new phase of growth and operational evolution.

This is not a maintenance CFO role. It’s a highly visible leadership opportunity for a strategic, hands-on executive who wants to help scale a multi-channel consumer brand, modernize infrastructure, and drive enterprise-wide performance.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic vision, operational intensity, and financial leadership — someone equally comfortable in executive strategy sessions, lender discussions, ERP transformation initiatives, and day-to-day operational analysis.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with the CEO, executive leadership team, and private equity investors to drive financial strategy, operational planning, and scalable growth initiatives.
• Lead all core finance and accounting functions including forecasting, budgeting, cash flow management, audit, tax, and financial reporting.
• Develop KPIs and actionable analytics to improve profitability, operational performance, and decision-making across retail, eCommerce, and wholesale channels.
• Drive operational efficiencies, cost optimization, and working capital improvements throughout the organization.
• Support expansion initiatives including operational investments, real estate strategy, and potential M&A activity.
• Help lead the continued optimization of NetSuite ERP and broader financial systems infrastructure.
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, sales, IT, and leadership teams to improve processes, automation, reporting, and scalability.
• Manage lender relationships, capital planning, compliance reporting, and financial governance.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA and/or advanced degree strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience within high-growth or evolving environments.
• Experience leading finance and accounting teams within consumer products, retail, food & beverage, manufacturing, or distribution businesses.
• Strong operational finance background with experience driving process improvement, scalability, and business transformation.
• Understanding of asset-based lending structures, lender reporting, and working capital management.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments.
• Data-driven, commercially minded, hands-on, with the executive presence to influence across all levels of the organization.
