Client Coordinator

Location: Woodbury, NY (On-site)
Pay: $21.00/hour (W2)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Type: Temporary assignment (approx. 13 weeks)

Overview

Seeking a Client Coordinator to handle a high volume of inbound inquiries and provide strong customer service via phone and email. This role involves data entry/tracking, documentation, and clerical support while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to compliance standards (including HIPAA-related practices).

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to inquiries regarding status updates, questions, and general information requests
• Enter and retrieve information accurately using internal systems/databases
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance regarding workflow and pending items
• Contact providers as needed and update records
• File, archive, and maintain case documentation (open/closed cases)
• Perform clerical duties (typing, filing, emailing, proofreading)
• Assist with resolving customer complaints and quality issues
• Route calls to the appropriate departments when needed
• Follow applicable safety, legal, and internal policy requirements

Requirements

• Strong customer service and professional communication (phone + email)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel , and general office equipment (scanner/copier/fax/phone)
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Typing speed: 40 WPM minimum
• Comfortable working fully on-site in Woodbury, NY
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and stay focused under distractions
