Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ emotional well-being and mental health status, focusing on their mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to devise customized treatment plans that align closely with their goals, preferences, and needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective treatment.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote ongoing mental health.

• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to integrated care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enhance and evolve therapeutic practices.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate actively in clinical case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily involves working with clients facing challenges related to mood disorders, relationship issues, and divorce counseling. Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
