Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Barrington, IL. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment. If you have a passion for problem-solving and a knack for fixing things, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Repair or replace defective parts and components as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
Fabrication and Welding a plus.
Machine Istallation
480v and 3 phase motors.
Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
Schematics and Blueprints.
Preventive Maintenance.
