Sales Director, Traditional Investment Operations Solutions

The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members on our Alternative Investment Funds accounting team. As a Sales Director for Traditional Investment Operations, you will develop sales leads in the United States for the sale of IMS’ Traditional Investment Administrative Services with prospective clients. You will manage sales agendas related to IMS’ Traditional Investment Operations/Solutions Services. Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience selling compliance services to asset managers (buy-side). Candidates with 5+ years experience selling fund administration or front office technology to the buy-side will also be considered as well as candidates with 5+ years experience selling traditional fund services or front office technology to the sell-side (i.e., broker dealer community) or wealth managers. Extensive travel is likely.What you’ll do:Lead generation & sales supportYou will develop sales leads for IMS’ Traditional Investment Administrative SolutionsYou will serve as key technical sales resource in sales agendasYou will work with internal and external counterparts to close sales agendasYou are an ambassador to Traditional Services market for SEIConsistent representation of SEI Traditional solution in media & industry events, including panel participation as a subject matter expertOrganize and lead Traditional content creation & SEI sponsored eventsHost, lead SEI sponsored webinars, etc.Build and maintain credible relationships with prospects, clients and industry "Centers of Influence"Organize and cultivate peer working groups through which clients compare approaches and challenges to regulatory reportingPlatform support & leadershipYou will participate in prioritization decisions regarding application integration into SEI’s Traditional Fund Administrative Services/Solutions platformIn some instances, you will lead the application integration (including initial vendor due diligence/VDD) into SEI’s platform & maintain relationships for those on an ongoing basis (including ongoing VDD)You will nurture and maintain consistent communication lines with leading global regulatorsYou will serve as technical subject matter expert for new and ongoing software development initiativesGeneralYou will maintain a strong working knowledge of asset management and wealth management industriesYou will effectively utilize customer relationship management system (CRM) and document prospect engagements well in CRMYou will assist in RFP responses for GRC sales agendas, and lead in some casesExtensive travel likelyWe want you to succeed and look for future solutions!
