Our organization is on the lookout for a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in Hand, Shoulder, and Upper Extremity to enhance our team. In this role, you will focus on diagnosing and treating patients with conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting patient consultations to evaluate their medical history and current health status.

• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic imaging such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans.

• Creating and executing treatment plans for orthopaedic patients, incorporating both surgical and non-surgical methods.

• Performing surgical procedures related to the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.

• Monitoring patient recovery and modifying treatment plans as needed.

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.

• Completion of an Orthopaedic Surgery residency program.

• Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery.

• Fellowship training in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery.

• A valid medical license with the capability to obtain a Pennsylvania license.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative private practice environment.

Our organization has proudly maintained its status as a successful physician-owned and managed practice for nearly 46 years. We offer a comprehensive range of musculoskeletal care in our region, allowing each physician the freedom to develop their practice with significant autonomy. Our diverse team of orthopaedic specialists ensures that all musculoskeletal needs are addressed under one roof, providing a coordinated approach to patient care.

Join our team of 10 fellowship-trained orthopaedic physicians and 17 skilled physician assistants. We also employ 22 Physical Therapists and 4 Occupational/Certified Hand Therapists, providing extensive outpatient rehabilitation services, including aquatic therapy. Additionally, we have an Orthotist available for brace and orthotic fittings, as well as an on-site specialist for EMG/Nerve Conduction Studies. Our facilities include office-based ultrasound and X-ray services, along with Platelet Rich Plasma Injection Therapy and other treatments. We operate walk-in Orthopaedic Urgent Care Centers for emergency visits and direct referrals, with five office locations in the Pittsburgh suburbs.

Due to our practice's growth, we are looking for a hand/shoulder/upper extremity orthopaedic surgeon to join our busy practice in 2026. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional patient-centered care, foster practice growth, and work collaboratively within our team. An interest in providing general orthopaedic care is preferred. As an independent practice, we accept all major insurances and maintain a healthy payer mix. Our practice is primarily elective, with minimal on-call emergency coverage and no level I trauma. Call rotation is 1:9, offering excellent hours and competitive benefits.

Essential Qualifications:

• Fellowship trained in Hand and Upper Extremity.

• Board certified or eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.

• Ability to secure a Pennsylvania state medical license.
